Karachi: The latest foreign exchange rates for Pakistan have been released, showing the buying and selling prices of the US dollar and other major currencies in the open market and interbank market.
According to the open market rates updated on September 6, 2026, at 10 AM (PST), the US dollar was being bought at Rs277.95 and sold at Rs278.45.
The British pound was quoted at Rs376.42 for buying and Rs380.63 for selling, while the euro was available at Rs322.98 for buying and Rs326.96 for selling.
The Saudi riyal was being bought at Rs74.00 and sold at Rs74.65, while the UAE dirham was quoted at Rs75.70 for buying and Rs76.53 for selling.
The Australian dollar stood at Rs199.03 for buying and Rs202.45 for selling, while the Canadian dollar was quoted at Rs198.79 for buying and Rs206.79 for selling.
The Chinese yuan was being bought at Rs38.27 and sold at Rs38.99, while the Japanese yen was quoted at Rs1.7339 for buying and Rs1.8337 for selling.

According to the interbank rates updated on September 6, 2026, at 10:34 AM (PST), the US dollar was quoted at Rs277.30 for bank buying and Rs277.80 for bank selling.
The euro was quoted at Rs322.33 for buying and Rs322.91 for selling, while the British pound stood at Rs375.20 for buying and Rs375.88 for selling.
The Saudi riyal was quoted at Rs73.85 for buying and Rs73.98 for selling.
