Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against renowned singer Jawad Ahmad and four of his associates for allegedly attacking a Lesco (Lahore Electric Supply Company) team during a routine inspection in Lahore.
According to the FIR registered at Nawab Town Police Station, the incident occurred when a Lesco team discovered an issue with the electricity meter installed at a beauty parlor owned by Jawad Ahmad’s wife. Ahmad’s wife contacted him during the inspection, prompting the singer to rush to the scene with his accomplices in a black van.
Upon arriving, Jawad Ahmad reportedly snatched the electricity meter from a Lesco staff member, Shahid Khan, and handed it over to his colleague, Adeel, who then fled the scene with the meter. The singer and his associates allegedly assaulted the Lesco staff members during the incident, causing injuries.
