Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced the launch of the Pakistan Honor Card scheme, aimed at recognizing the top taxpayers across the country.
Under this initiative, distinguished taxpayers who have recently received awards from the Prime Minister will be eligible to receive an honor card. Holders of the honor card will have the exclusive privilege of attending the annual dinner with the Prime Minister.
According to the FBR, the benefits and privileges associated with the honor card will be extended for a period of one year to the recipients. In addition to prominent taxpayers, the honor cards will also be conferred upon nine major exporters of the nation. Among the perks, cardholders will enjoy access to VIP lounges at all airports, expedited clearance at immigration counters, and issuance of official passports.
It is noteworthy that the newly elected government of Pakistan has undertaken several measures to navigate the country out of its financial challenges.
