Ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, the anticipation is palpable in Karachi and across the country as the Feast of Sacrifice draws closer. This significant Islamic event brings a sense of anticipation as people gear up to spend time with their sacrificial animals.
In preparation for the occasion, the management of Karachi’s cattle market has announced the opening of a market in Taiser Town on the Northern Bypass, commencing from May 10.
To facilitate animal purchases, organizers will install ATMs and temporary bank branches for cash withdrawals. Additionally, an ambulance will be stationed at the market to provide emergency medical aid.
With Eid-ul-Adha expected to be celebrated in mid-June 2024, the central cattle market is set to commence operations in the first week of May, enabling individuals to make their purchases in readiness for the upcoming festivities. Consequently, it is anticipated that people will enjoy a five-day break during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays this year.
