India has carried out another attack; the area of Burki in Lahore echoed with an explosion, as reported by national media on Thursday.
According to details, India’s continuous unprovoked actions in Pakistan are ongoing, with reports of explosions in the Burki area of Lahore after Walton Road. Sources say that the sounds of explosions were heard from far and wide in the Burki area, however, no reports of casualties have been received.
It is worth noting that earlier on Thursday morning, sudden explosions and sirens were heard in various parts of Punjab. Security forces confirmed shooting down an Indian spy drone. According to police sources, a loud explosion occurred on Walton Road in Lahore, and its echo was heard in several areas including Gwalmandi, Naseerabad, and Gwalmangar.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosion was the result of a drone attack. The police received reports of two drone attacks in the Walton area, and investigations are ongoing. Meanwhile, there was also a report of a drone crashing near Deewalian in the Dhaman area of Chakwal, with the wreckage being seized by the police for investigation. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
Sources said that Pakistani security forces timely targeted an Indian spy drone in the air near Lahore Airport. This drone was about five to six feet long and was being controlled from across the border. Pakistan’s defense system acted swiftly, jamming the drone’s signal, after which it was shot down.
According to sources, the drone was carrying explosive material and had been sent to monitor sensitive installations. As soon as it neared an important building, a loud explosion occurred during an attempt to target it, but fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Immediately after the incident, law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and initiated an investigation.
