The likelihood of the PSL being postponed has increased due to missile attacks yesterday and drone attacks happening today amidst the Pakistan-India tension.
According to a report by national media, the continuous aggression and infiltration by India have put the upcoming PSL matches at risk. A meeting called by the Ministry of Interior and PCB officials will take place shortly, where a decision will be made regarding whether to continue the PSL matches or not.
It is worth mentioning that India has carried out drone attacks on various cities in Pakistan today, while the Pakistan Army shot down the enemy country’s surveillance drones. DG ISPR, during a news briefing, stated that 12 drones were shot down.
The Director General ISPR stated that the Pakistan Army neutralized the Indian drones. During this operation, four Pakistan Army personnel were injured. In Ghotki, one civilian was martyred and another injured.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that India had also carried out aggression the previous day. Sending drones and carrying out attacks in Pakistan by India is open aggression.
