ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that there is disappointment in the Muslim League (N) over the country’s economic situation, but the situation will improve in one to one and a half months.
According to the details, in a statement, Khawaja Asif said that the economic situation of the country will improve in one to one and a half months. “Whatever happened to Nawaz Sharif was wrong. We want the former prime minister to come back,” he said.
While praising former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the Defense Minister said that he wants to redress the abuse done to Nawaz Sharif, but there is no desire to rush it. “Asad Umar has no right to question me,” he claimed.
Asif said that General Ghulam Umar’s son has no right to question him about his loyalty to Pakistan while General Ghulam Umar’s name came up in the investigation of the Hamoodur-Rahman Commission. The commission said that Ghulam Umar is a criminal.

Regarding PML-N leader and former governor of Sindh Muhammad Zubair, Khawaja Asif said that Muhammad Zubair’s father is also Ghulam Umar, but history is brutal. “My father Khawaja Safdar was a friend of Quaid-e-Azam, if he supported General Zia, I apologized to him,” he said.
Khawaja Asif said, “I apologized standing in the Parliament. Imran Khan sat in India and Britain and spoke against Pakistan’s national institutions. Shahbaz Gill should not be tortured while his statement is scripted,” he asserted.
