In the Bihar state of India, a daughter has killed her mother over love. She locked the house from the outside and fled with her lover. According to reports, a widow named Manju Devi lived with her daughter Soni Kumari in the village of Harsadhi in the Dhiwadhar area of Motihari.
According to a report by News 18, Soni Kumari had relationships with several young men. Her mother frequently scolded her for her behavior, having caught her talking to them on the phone multiple times. She had advised her daughter to end the relationships, but Soni didn’t like her mother’s interference. As a result, she killed her mother.
The body of the victim, Manju Devi, was found near an axe, which was bloodstained. SP Soren Prabhat formed an SIT team, and under the leadership of DSP Raj Ranjan Kumar, multiple raids were conducted. The forensic team gathered evidence from the crime scene. Soni Kumari was later arrested.
During intense questioning, Soni Kumari confessed to the crime. She stated that her mother disapproved of her relationships and tried to intervene repeatedly. Despite her attempts to explain, her mother refused to listen, and ultimately, she decided to kill her mother.
DSP Ranjan Kumar, explaining the details of the case, said that recently, the police received information about the body of an elderly woman found in a locked room in Harsadhi’s Ghiwadhar village. Upon arrival, the police found the woman’s body covered in blood, with an axe nearby. Investigations revealed that the elderly woman had been living with her daughter Soni Kumari, who had gone missing after the incident. The police suspected the daughter and, after multiple raids, arrested her.
