In a brazen display of fearlessness, criminals in Karachi have become so audacious that not only are they looting citizens openly, but they have now begun assaulting law enforcement officers as well.
A disturbing incident occurred in Gadap City, located on the M-9 Motorway, where robbers attacked a police officer and a constable.
According to the police, three armed robbers physically assaulted a sub-inspector and a constable, stealing their official weapons and mobile phones before fleeing the scene.
The police further reported that Sub-Inspector Shehzad Akbar and Constable Zakir were severely beaten by the criminals, who injured them by striking them with the butts of their pistols.
After the assailants escaped, the injured officers were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
