ISLAMABAD: In Pakistan, 400 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported, while 11 more people have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,277,560 people were infected with Corona across the country, while 28,558 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
Moreover, during the last 24 hours, 42,373 tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests to 21,185,396. Across the country, the corona test result was 0.94 percent, while the number of critical cases was 1,206.

However, 277 people across the country defeated the virus, bringing the total number of recovering people to 12,26,157. The worst affected province was Punjab were 441,257 people fell victim to the virus and 12,954 died. In Sindh, 472,213 cases of corona and 7,598 deaths were reported.
Whereas, In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 178,687 people fell victim to corona while 5,774 died. In Balochistan, 33,345 cases of the virus and 358 deaths due to corona were reported.
Meanwhile, earlier NCOC expressed satisfaction over the ongoing vaccination process across the country. As the Pakistan COVID-19 ratio falls below 1%.
