ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Energy Minister Muhammad Ali has said that there will be more gas load shedding this year as well and gas will be provided to the consumers for eight hours only.
In a statement issued by the caretaker energy minister said that 2 LNG tankers have been purchased today to meet the gas shortage in winter. He said that every year there is gas load shedding and industries get less gas, gas will be available to industries in December.
He said that there will be gas load shedding this year too, last year gas was coming for 8 hours a day, and they will continue this, this year the natural gas has reduced by 30%, and this year the demand for gas is high and the supply is low.
The caretaker energy minister further said that PIA is the first priority in terms of privatisation, and will privatize soon.
