ISLAMABAD: Chechen President Ramazan Kadyrov has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan and expressed his gratitude and affection for visit to Russia and taking time out of his busy schedule to meet him.
President Kadyrov said he was “very humbled and impressed” by Imran Khan’s gesture and wrote that the people of Chechnya regards PM Imran Khan’s visit with honour and respect.
“My Brother Prime Minister lmran khan, I am extremely thankful to you that you spare time for a meeting with me. I am also thankful to you that you extended a friendly cooperation with our country Russia,” read the letter shared on Twitter.
“You [PM Imran] would be aware that in Russia, we are approximately three million Muslims in Russia and all these three million Muslims esteemed you with great respect and honour,” the Chechen president added.
Appreciating the stance Imran Khan has taken to defend Islam on global forums, he said, “I was profoundly and eagerly looking forward to meet you to express my gratitude for the stance you adopt for our religion [Islam] in United Nations and at world forums.”
He also appreciated Premier Imran’s stance against Islamophobia saying: “Personally I was profoundly and eagerly looking forward to meet you to express my gratitude for the stance you adopt for our religion (Islam) in United Nations and at world forums.”
“We are ready to make every service for you in Russia. We also pray to Allah Almighty to consider us among His dutiful and obedient humans. Whatsoever service is required for the cause, defence and struggle of Allah’s Deen and its spread.

President Kadyrov expressed his desire to meet Imran Khan again and said that they will be anxiously waiting for Imran Khan’s next visit to Russia. “Once more, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to you and your affection. We will wait anxiously for your next visit to Russia.”
PM Imran Khan had met Kadyrov last month in Moscow and appreciated the rebuilding of Grozny and the rapid progress of Chechen Republic under his the leadership.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had visited Russia on February 24. During his visit, he held a one-on-one meeting with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin which caught everyone’s attention.
