LAHORE: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) to ensure transparent investigation, protection and preservation of evidence in the case where a Pakistan-origin family from Australia lost nine year old Hania Ahmed when CCD official opened fire at the family.
According to reports, the petitioner stated that the Chakwal shooting was not a mistake but a serious violation of human rights so the court must direct the authorities to provide the names of the CCD officers involved, CCTV footage, and all relevant records to ensure a fair and transparent inquiry.
