ISLAMABAD: Cement prices in Pakistan have continued to stay high, with significant differences observed across various regions of the country.
According to the latest market data for May 2026, the cost of a 50kg bag of cement ranges between Rs. 1,350 and Rs. 1,550, while the average price hovers between Rs. 1,390 and Rs. 1,450.
Among major brands, DG Khan Cement is being sold for Rs. 1,415 to Rs. 1,425 per bag, Fauji Cement for Rs. 1,395 to Rs. 1,405, and both Lucky and Kohat Cement are priced between Rs. 1,380 and Rs. 1,390. Bestway Cement remains at the lower end of the spectrum at approximately Rs. 1,350 per bag.
Industry observers attribute the ongoing price disparities to regional demand fluctuations, supply constraints, and transportation costs, which continue to keep cement rates uneven across the country.
