Car used in PSX terror attack spotted in TV drama

KARACHI: In a rather unusual incident, a vehicle used by the terrorists in the attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) was spotted in a TV drama.
The car which the terrorists used to reach their intended target was seen in an episode of a TV drama aired on a private entertainment channel on Wednesday, 1st June. The car was seen parked in the background of a scene of the drama shot in the parking area of Hill Park.
The vehicle with registration no. BAP-629 was used in the incident. While the episode was aired a few days back, it has not been ascertained when the scene was filmed.
The investigations in the terror attack on the PSX building is underway to apprehend the facilitators of the incident. On Monday, it was revealed that the vehicle used during the incident was bought by one of the terrorists from Karsaz area.
According to the vehicle’s documents, the attacker named Salman bought a silver car from a showroom near Karsaz which deals in used cars.
The terrorist’s number, date of birth and address were also listed on the documents. Salman was one of the four attackers killed during the attack on the PSX building.
Four terrorists attacked the stock exchange building in Karachi on Monday before they were killed by security forces. A police officer and two security guards also lost their lives while foiling the attack.
The proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the attack. Prime Minister Imran Khan to the National Assembly that the attack was orchestrated in India.
