Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has married his longtime partner Jodie Haydon after a five-year relationship.
According to foreign media, Anthony Albanese is the first Australian Prime Minister to marry while in office. The wedding ceremony was held in Canberra, and the date was kept confidential.
Anthony Albanese and Jodie Haydon first met in 2020–21 during a public event and gradually grew closer. During the 2022 and 2025 election campaigns, Jodie Haydon accompanied Albanese on international trips and at major public events.

Last year in February, on Valentine’s Day, Anthony Albanese proposed to Jodie Haydon, and she accepted.
In a joint statement, Anthony Albanese and Jodie Haydon said, “We are delighted to share our love and our commitment to spending our future together with our families and close friends.”
