Asset Transfer Scheme to be launched on Feb 21

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the Asset Transfer Scheme on 21st February.
The prime minister’s Ehsaas Assets Transfer  Scheme would provide over 60,000 loans that would be distributed each month among the needy families. 
During the first phase, the loans will be designated in the 23 underdeveloped districts. People will be given livestock (goats and chickens), agriculture tools and supplies, sewing machines or material to support local crafts, small shops or cash to help them start small businesses.
Rs15 billion will be distributed among 10 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seven districts of Sindh, and three districts of Balochistan and Punjab. 
Last month, the “Ehsaas Sponsorship Program” was launched under the leadership of the prime minister. The program will provide financial assistance to widows, including impecunious persons and highly deserving people by Rs 2,000 a month.
Under the program, poor women will be given cows, buffaloes, and money cannot be stolen from bank accounts of poor women.
