ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party has announced to send legal notice to PTI Chairman Imran Khan for levelling serious allegations against former President Asif Ali Zardari.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, PPP leader Nayyar Bokhari said the trend of Imran Khan of levelling allegations against his opponents wasn’t new, and that he was suffering from depression. He said out of his frustration, Imran Khan also levelled allegations against state institutions, after which the party decided to send him legal notice today if he failed to retract his statement.

His comments came a day after Imran Khan accused Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari of making a Plan-C to assassinate him after failure to execute Plans A and B. He also alleged that the former president had given money to a terrorist outfit.
Speaking on this occasion, Qamar Zaman Kaira alleged that by spreading sensationalism, Imran Khan was trying to come out of the hard times he was faced with. He said Khan always used allegations to toe his political strategy.
Kaira said after Wazirabad assassination attempt, his own government in Punjab had constituted JIT to investigate into the crime, and if he (Khan) had any evidence, he should come forward with proofs.
Earlier, Senator Farhatullah Babar while mentioning Khan’s allegations against Asif Ali Zrdari, called Imran Khan as Taliban Khan, adding that legal action would be taken against him.
