Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has slammed singer Falak Shabir, accusing him of hypocrisy following his recent comments advocating for a dress code in public places.

In a statement shared on social media, Alizeh Shah claimed that she had previously worked with Falak Shabir in a music video where she was allegedly pressured to wear what she described as inappropriate clothing.

She further alleged that the styling for the project had been overseen by Falak Shabir’s wife.

Questioning the singer’s recent stance, the actress said that concerns about cultural and religious values did not appear to arise when bold scenes were being filmed for the music video.

She also hinted at having additional information about her experience but said that she was refraining from sharing further details out of consideration for the singer’s wife and daughter.

Alizeh Shah further alleged that Falak Shabir had attempted to damage her reputation, intensifying the public dispute between the two entertainment personalities.

The controversy emerged after Falak Shabir appealed to Maryam Nawaz to consider implementing dress code regulations in public spaces.
