Afghan leader Abdullah to visit Pakistan this month

KABUL: Abdullah Abdullah, the head of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation will visit Pakistan on 28th September.

During a two-day official visit, Abdullah Abdullah will meet the political and military leaders. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had invited Dr. Abdullah Abdullah to visit the country in July. His visit is part of an effort to move the Afghan reconciliation process forward.

A few days ago, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Ambassador of Afghanistan, Shukrallah Atif Mashal. It was their farewell meeting.

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Afghan Ambassador thanked the Chief of Army Staff for his support of the reconciliation process. As per the ISPR, Ambassador of Afghanistan Shukarullah Atif Mashal paid a farewell call on GHQ.
