Pakistani actor Momina Iqbal has publicly alleged that she has been subjected to prolonged online harassment, cyberbullying, and death threats, claiming that the situation has caused severe emotional distress for both her and her family.
In a series of posts shared on Instagram, the television star said that an individual linked to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had allegedly been threatening her for an extended period.
Although she did not directly identify the person, Momina claimed the accused was a sitting Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA).
She further alleged that despite repeatedly approaching the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency and the Federal Investigation Agency, no meaningful action had been taken on her complaints.
The actor also accused certain individuals associated with the office of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz of attempting to suppress the matter instead of ensuring a transparent investigation.
According to Momina, her decision to speak out and seek legal recourse has only intensified threats against her family’s safety.
Appealing directly to the authorities, she demanded an immediate and impartial inquiry, protection for her family, and strict action against those allegedly involved.
She warned that if the issue continues to be ignored, she may hold a press conference and release evidence related to the alleged harassment and intimidation campaign.
