GWALIOR: A bizarre social media stunt inspired by a foreign trend has landed a youth in Gwalior in trouble with the traffic police, turning a viral moment of love into an expensive lesson in traffic rules.
The incident involves Aditya Sikarwar, whose car was reportedly covered with around 3,400 lipstick kiss marks by his girlfriend. According to reports, it took nearly four hours to create the unusual look, mimicking a viral trend popular on social media abroad.

Aditya then drove the heavily decorated “kissing car” around the streets of Gwalior and featured it in a reel. The video quickly went viral, reportedly crossing 55 lakh views within a single day and drawing widespread attention online.
However, the viral fame also caught the eye of the Gwalior Traffic Police. Officials reportedly traced the vehicle through the viral footage and identified traffic violations linked to the manner in which the car was being driven in the city.
Police issued a challan of Rs 5,500 to Aditya. Officials clarified that the fine was not for the lipstick marks themselves, but for the traffic rule violations observed in the viral video.
After admitting his mistake, Aditya was made to clean all 3,400 kiss marks from the car himself. He has also reportedly assured police that he will strictly follow traffic rules in the future.
The episode serves as a reminder that while love may go viral, traffic rules still apply. As netizens put it – love went viral, but so did the challan.
