KARACHI: Actor Ali Kazmi is all set to be starred in his upcoming movie ‘Funny boy’ that will be released on Netflix in December.
‘Funny Boy’ will feature unrest in Sri Lanka during the war between Sinhalese and Tamil during 1970-80. The movie which will be released on 10th December has been inspired by the novel Funny Boy, by Sir Lankan writer Shyam Selvadurai.
Actors including Ingram, Nimmi Harasgama, Kazmi, Agam Darshi, Seema Biswas, Rehan Mudannayake, and Shivantha Wijesinha will be ready to appear in the movie.

‘Funny Boy’ involves Tamil protagonist Arjie’s, played by Arush Nand, sexual awakening from a young boy, considered funny by disapproving family, to a teenager enamored by a male classmate, just as political tensions escalate, leading up to the civil war.
