KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan’s local bullion market recorded a significant increase on Friday, ending a five-day consecutive decline.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola, taking the price of one tola to Rs453,036.
The association said the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,029, reaching Rs388,404.

Silver prices also moved higher in the local market. The price of silver increased by Rs126 per tola to Rs6,963, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs108 to Rs5,969.
The latest increase in gold and silver prices comes after a sustained decline in gold prices over the previous five trading days.
