Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif secured a significant victory over PTI leader Yasmeen Rashid in NA-130 Lahore.
According to the official results for the constituency, Nawaz Sharif garnered 171,024 votes, while Yasmeen Rashid, running as an independent candidate, received 115,043 votes. Notably, in the early results, Rashid initially led, and Sharif was trailing. However, the final and official results confirm Sharif’s win for the seat, positioning him as a prospective prime minister.
Additionally, Sharif contested from NA-15 Mansehra, KPK, where PTI-backed independent candidate Shehzada Gastasif is currently leading. The official results for this seat are yet to be announced.
In other official results, Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz have secured victories in their respective NA seats from Lahore. PML-N is leading in both NA and PA seats in Punjab, including Lahore.
PTI is leading in both NA and PA seats in Pakhtunkhwa, while PPP is poised to secure a simple majority in the Sindh Assembly. The party has also emerged victorious in most of the NA seats in the province.
