RAWALPINDI: England has won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the first 5-day match of the Test series that started at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
According to the details, the recently arrived England team under the leadership of Ben Stokes is starting a 5-day test match against the national cricket team today. Ben Stokes and Babar Azam took the toss which Stokes won.
Speaking after the toss, England captain Ben Stokes said that the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium pitch is looking good for batting. English team players are excited about the match.

The English team includes Joe Root, Zac Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, and Harry Brook. Apart from captain Ben Stokes, Will Jacks, Liam Livingston, Ollie Robinson, Jack Finch, and James Anderson are also part of the squad.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Test squad includes Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Rizwan, Agha Salman, Naseem Shah, Haris Raoof, Muhammad Ali, Zahid Mehmood, Abdullah Shafiq, Imamul Haq, Azhar Ali and Babar Azam.
It should be noted that the English team had brought its own squad for the tour of Pakistan, but the news of 8 England players being unwell came out yesterday. Babar Azam said about the toss that if we had won the toss, we would have decided to bat.
