PM expresses concern over SC’s decision regarding Hamza Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed concern over the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the removal of Hamza Shehbaz from the Chief Ministership and said that no institution can interfere in the powers of another.

In his message on Twitter last night, the Prime Minister said that the constitution has assigned state powers to the parliament, administration and judiciary. The constitution has mandated all the institutions to work within the specified limits, he maintained.

In a Twitter message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that no institution can interfere in the authority of another. “There will be no compromise on the supremacy of the Constitution and Parliament. The credibility of the judiciary required that a full court be constituted,” he added.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that if a full court bench had been formed, justice would not only have been done, but it would have been seen to be done, but the judicial decision has dealt a blow to the expectations of the legal community, the public, the media and the public.

It should be noted that according to the decision of the Supreme Court last night, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi took oath as the new Chief Minister, while Hamza Shehbaz, the son of the Prime Minister, has lost the Chief Ministership.
