14-year-old bride killed over wish to continue education

SWAT: A husband killed his newlywed 17-year-old wife in the Deolai area during the wee hours of Tuesday as she wanted to pursue her education.

The incident took place in Swat. The deceased San Gul had been married to Anees a national of France three months back. She was a student of 11th grade. She wanted to continue her education. Her husband and in-laws were against her wish to pursue further education.

On Saturday, the verbal duel got intense and Anees opened fire and killed Sana in the cold blood. It is being reported her husband Anees was flying back to France on Sunday.
