Woman, Three Children Killed in Chiniot Over Property Dispute

CHINIOT: A woman and her three children were allegedly killed in Chiniot over a property dispute.
According to police, the victim’s family has nominated her husband and his accomplices in the case. The family registered a case on the night between August 29 and 30, alleging that the suspect, Nawaz, killed his wife with the help of his accomplices and took their three children away after abducting them.
Police said they were conducting raids to trace the children when a search was launched at a site near a local graveyard after a sheet belonging to the children was found there. During excavation, the bodies of all three missing children were recovered.
According to police, the suspects are still at large, while Punjab Inspector General of Police has sought a report from the Faisalabad Regional Police Officer (RPO).
