KARACHI: Cybercrime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) today (Thursday) has arrested a woman for allegedly harassing and blackmailing a man in Karachi.
According to details, the Cybercrime wing arrested the woman on the complaint of the man. The authorities arrested the female school teacher and recovered the obscene material used for blackmailing the person.
The federal agency informed that the woman allegedly blackmailed him over refusing a marriage proposal. “The woman was also involved in the similar acts of harassment and blackmailing previously,” FIA added.
The FIA further informed that the accused woman has also blackmailed the victim’s relative earlier by capturing his obscene footages. The agency has also started a thorough probe into the matter.
Earlier in September, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four members of a group allegedly involved in molesting young boys after entrapping them via social media ads for jobs.
The federal agency recovered evidence from the detained mobile phones of the suspects which further substantiated their notorious activities of blackmailing.
