KARACHI: The prime suspect accused in the murder case of journalist Mureed Abbas offered an apology to the victim’s wife Zara Abbas while appearing before the court for the hearing of the case.
As per details, hearing of the case was conducted at a local court in the Judicial Complex in Karachi amid tight security.
The prime suspect Atif Zaman said, “I’m sorry” when he came face to face with Zara Abbas in the Judicial complex. However, she replied, “Not me, neither Almighty Allah will forgive you.”
At the outset of the hearing, the court expressed dismay over the non-presence of the lawyers of the accused named in the case. The court fixed February 1 to indict the accused in the case.
