A young woman whose body was abandoned at the Jinnah Hospital has been identified as 18-year-old Ayesha, who was also a TikToker.
Two unidentified people abandoned the body of a young girl in the emergency ward of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and sneaked out of the crowded trauma centre.
The couple who identified themselves as Jibran and Sehrish brought the girl to the hospital’s emergency department and asked doctors to examine her. Both escaped in a vehicle after being informed the girl had already passed away.

Who was Ayesha?
The victim hailed from Sheikhupura and used to live in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi. Police have refused to hand over the body to her mother-in-law.
Her mother-in-law told police that her son was a driver but a drug addict. She said Ayesha informed them that she was going to attend a birthday party.
Police obtained the family details of the deceased. Ayesha’s father and two brothers are in Gujarat and Okara, while her mother has passed away.
Cause of death
Police added that the girl’s preliminary cause of death is suspected to be a drug overdose and intoxication.
Police said the girl died at a dance party being held at a bungalow in DHA. She was found dead in the washroom and was brought to the hospital in the morning.
Police said the mobile phone of the victim has not been found while efforts are being made to contact her family members.
Police said some TikTok videos of the deceased have surfaced which are being investigated. It was later found out that the victim was a known TiKToker.
Vehicle identified
Police conducted a raid in Golimar and detained the owner of the vehicle in which the mysterious couple came to the hospital.
Police said Ahmed Ali, the owner of a rent-a-car business, has been taken into custody. Police traced the vehicle with the help of CCTV footage at the hospital’s premises.
Police said the suspect is the owner of the vehicle. Police added the person who left the body of the girl and identified himself as Jibran was named Rehmat Ali.
Police have not yet registered a case against the suspect but said raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding couple.
Post-mortem report
Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya told the media that the autopsy has been performed on the woman’s body but cause of death was not immediately ascertained.
She said samples have been obtained for chemical analysis and there were apparently there are no marks of torture on the body. She said the finger prints of the deceased have been obtained.
The police surgeon said a postmortem report will be prepared based on the chemical analysis results which will ascertain the cause of death.
