Pakistani TikToker Samiya Hijab has become the latest victim of a video leak scandal in the country, and this indecent incident is being discussed on social media.
Soon after her private video went viral on social media, the TikTok star issued a video message at the name of her fans and followers and claimed that this video is fake and AI-generated; however, in the same video, she also blamed her ex-boyfriend for leaking this video.
In her video message, Samiya claimed: “I completely deny this video and has nothing to do with it. My character is being deliberately targeted to damage my reputation on social media. This content has been made viral by my ex-boyfriend due to personal enmity and revenge.”
She claimed that this video had been produced through editing and modern technology to defame her.
She further said in her video, “I request all my fans and followers not to believe this false and baseless video. I will take up the matter legally and will soon file a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Wing.”
However, despite the denial of the TikToker, it is not clear yet whether this is really a fake and AI-generated video or has some reality. Her accusation on her ex-boyfriend makes the matter suspicious.
It is a bitter truth that some social media users, particularly TikTokers, deliberately make controversial content go viral — including videos about themselves — to gain popularity.
