LAHORE: The district police today (Saturday) have claimed to arrest two suspects accused of raping a seven-year-old boy in Lahore.
According to details, the district police carried out a raid in a house and apprehended two suspects, identified as Mubashir and Sheeraz, allegedly involved in raping the minor boy.
A police spokesperson informed that the suspect, Mubbashir, was a tutor of a seven-year-old boy, raped him along with his other friend named Sheeraz. The suspects had raped a minor boy a few days ago.
Sources prior to the development informed that a case has been registered against both suspects in Baghbanpura police station and an investigation against them have been launched.
It is worth mentioning here that the country is already in a state of shock after several rape cases were reported in different parts of the country.
Earlier on October 14, the police claimed to round up a racket involved in raping underage boys and girls at gunpoint in Jhelum area of Punjab province. The arrests were made on the complaint of a rape-victim girl’s father.
In November, a woman and her four-year-old daughter were sexually assaulted by a gang after being called in on a job offer in the Kashmore area of Sindh. Taking action in this regard, the Sindh police arrested the two culprits, however, one of the culprits was shot dead by the accomplice during a police encounter.
