ISLAMABAD: The terrorist, who had martyred two intelligence officers in Khanewal on 3rd of this month, is reported to have been killed in an intelligence-based operation by security forces in Kurram district.

According to official sources, Umar Niazi had shot dead two intelligence officials at a makeshift restaurant in Khanewal on 3rd of this month.
The intelligence agencies using latest technology tracked the terrorist, and with extreme diligence tried to arrest him as he was trying to flee to Afghanistan.

The terrorist was arrested in injured state during joint operation by law enforcement agencies but he succumbed to injuries later.
