QUETTA: A security man was martyred in a clash with a gang of terrorists in Panjgur near the border with Iran.
A spokesman for the Inter-Services Public Relations, while confirming the incident, said that a group of terrorists attacked a patrolling party of security forces.
The security forces returned fire and during the exchange of fire one soldier was martyred.
The martyred soldier was identified as Sepoy Jalil Khan. He hailed from Dera Ismail Khan.
At least two civilians were killed and three paramilitary troops injured on Sunday in a remote-controlled blast in Panjgur town of Makran division of Balochistan.
Police said the blast was planted on a motorbike parked in Cheetkan Bazaar area near a vehicle of Frontier Corps paramilitary forces in a crowded area and was detonated through remote control.
Two people were killed and three FC soldiers travelling in the vehicle suffered injuries. Security personnel rushed to the area and cordoned it off.
They shifted bodies and the injured to the district hospital. Police identified the deceased as Abdul Quyyam and Noorullah. A police officer said around 3kg of explosives were used in the blast.
