Lahore Police have arrested social media influencer AB Butt for allegedly engaging in illegal wheelie stunts and uploading videos of the activity on social media.
According to police officials, the influencer was taken into custody from the Defence Boulevard area.
Traffic Police stated that the arrest was made in connection with videos showing dangerous wheelie stunts that were shared online.
AB Butt is widely known on social media, particularly Instagram, where he has gained a large following by posting hundreds of videos featuring wheelie stunts and reckless riding.
Police have reportedly obtained access to his Instagram account and other relevant digital evidence as part of the investigation.
Police officials reiterated that illegal wheelie stunts, reckless driving, and overspeeding will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
They also expressed concern that such videos, when shared on social media, could encourage children and young people to imitate these dangerous activities, posing serious risks to public safety.
