ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Shahbaz Gill has been handed over to police on 2-day physical remand after appearing in court.
According to details, the PTI leader was arrested by the Kohsar Police of Islamabad yesterday and produced before the District and Sessions Court today. The police requested the court to grant physical remand.
The court accepted the plea of Kohsar police and granted two-day physical remand to Shahbaz Gill and directed that the former Special Assistant should be produced before the court again on Friday.

It should be noted that on the arrest of the former special assistant yesterday, conflicting statements of the government and the opposition came out. Tehreek-e-Insaf said that Shahbaz Gul was kidnapped while the government confirmed his arrest.
A case was registered against PTI leader Shahbaz Gill under 10 different sections including sedition in Kohsar police station of Islamabad. It was alleged that Shahbaz Gill incited social media users to rebel against institutions.
