The Punjab School Education Department has announced a Saturday off for all school teachers across the province during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to an official notification, this policy will remain in effect until the 30th of Ramadan, after which the regular schedule will resume. The move is expected to benefit approximately 300,000 teachers by providing them some relief during the holy month.
Moreover, the Punjab Education Department recently unveiled new school timings for Ramadan, which will be implemented throughout the province. Schools will operate from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, while classes on Fridays will conclude at 12:30 pm.

For schools with double shifts, the first shift will run from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, with the second shift taking place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. These adjusted schedules aim to accommodate the unique demands of Ramadan while ensuring continuity in education.
