Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has introduced a new Package Visa program aimed at promoting tourism and simplifying travel procedures for international visitors.
In the first phase, the facility will be available to citizens of Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Jordan, Egypt, and Mexico.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, travelers will no longer need to submit a separate visa application. Instead, they will be able to obtain a flight ticket, hotel reservation, and electronic tourist visa through a single integrated travel package.
Once an approved travel package is purchased, the electronic tourist visa will be issued within 48 hours. Officials said applicants will not be required to visit a Saudi embassy or submit a separate visa application.
To benefit from the program, travelers must book a Saudi Ministry of Tourism-approved package through an authorized travel agency. After completing the online payment, the e-visa, travel insurance, and other required travel documents will be delivered by email.
The Ministry has initially authorized Reserval and Almosafer as service providers under the program.
Key conditions of the Package Visa include:
The visa will be single-entry and valid for three months.
Visitors may stay in Saudi Arabia for a minimum of two days and a maximum of 88 days.
The package must include confirmed round-trip airfare.
Accommodation must be booked at a Saudi Ministry of Tourism-approved four- or five-star hotel.
Electronic visa processing is a mandatory part of the package.
According to the Ministry, the minimum package price has been set at SAR 4,000 per adult for the first two days of stay, with an additional SAR 1,000 for each extra day.
The new Package Visa program is part of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to boost the Kingdom’s tourism sector and make travel more convenient for visitors from around the world.
