The Karachi Traffic Police has issued a public warning about fraudulent SMS messages and fake e-challan notifications being circulated by scammers.
According to traffic authorities, certain fraudsters are sending deceptive text messages in the name of the 1915 helpline, claiming to be related to e-challans.
The Traffic Police has urged citizens not to act on any suspicious SMS, links, or e-challan messages without first verifying their authenticity.

Officials emphasized that official messages from the Karachi Traffic Police are sent only through authorized channels. Citizens are advised to avoid clicking on unverified links or sharing personal or financial information in response to such messages.
The Traffic Police further advised that anyone who receives a suspicious SMS or e-challan notification should immediately contact the 1915 helpline to verify its authenticity before taking any action.
