Newly released satellite imagery has confirmed extensive damage after Iranian ballistic missile strike on Jordan’s Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base.
According to analysis by the open-source intelligence group EGYOSINT. The images reportedly show the destruction of multiple aircraft shelters, drone facilities, and other military infrastructure at the strategic base.
It should be noted that Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base is a key hub for U.S. military operations in the Middle East, regularly hosting MQ-9 Reaper drones, intelligence aircraft, transport planes, helicopters, and special operations forces. Analysts say the facility’s location has made it an important platform for regional missions.

EGYOSINT’s assessment suggests the strike was both larger in scale and more precise than early evaluations indicated.

The imagery reportedly shows several hardened aircraft shelters destroyed, including facilities believed to house MQ-9 Reaper drones. Two drones parked outside hangars also appear to have sustained damage, although independent verification of the imagery remains limited.
Earlier, U.S. military officials said three American service members were killed in an attack on a base in Jordan on Friday.
