Pakistan’s leading mobile network operators, including Jazz, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor, have increased the prices of several voice and internet packages, with some popular bundles becoming up to 33 percent more expensive, according to updated tariff information available on the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) website.
The revised tariff sheets show substantial increases across a range of prepaid hybrid call and data packages.
Monthly bundles have become costlier by as much as Rs500, while prices of 15-day packages have risen by up to Rs300.
Weekly hybrid bundles have recorded increases of up to Rs130, three Consumer Awareness section of its official website to improve tariff transparency and help subscribers compare package prices, validity periods, and features more easily now allowed to increase package prices only once every quarter instead of every month, and any revision must-day packages by up to Rs21, two-day bundles by up to Rs20, and one-day packages by up to Rs5.

The PTA said it has upgraded the Consumer Awareness section of its official website to improve tariff transparency and help subscribers compare package prices, validity periods, and features more easily.
The regulator also introduced new measures to address consumer concerns over frequent price revisions.
Under the revised policy, telecom operators are now allowed to increase package prices only once every quarter instead of every month, and any revision must receive prior approval from the PTA before it can be implemented.
