ISLAMABAD: Prices of flour, chicken, and milk increased on a weekly basis, and the overall rate of inflation reached 48.35 percent.
The Bureau of Statistics has released a report on the weekly inflation in the country, according to which the inflation rate in the country increased by 1.05 percent during a week and the overall weekly inflation rate in the country has reached 48.35 percent.
In one week, 30 essential items have recorded an increase in prices, including potato, gram lentil, eggs, flour bags, fruit, fresh milk, and other items have increased this week.
According to the report, the price of live chicken increased by 35 rupees 74 paisa per kg, the price of potato increased by 3 rupees per kg, while the price of chickpeas increased by 4 rupees 82 paise, orange lentil by 5 rupees, yellow lentil by 6 rupees. Rs. 81 paise, and other lentil rose by Rs. 1 42 paise.
In the weekly inflation, the prices of 9 commodities decreased while the prices of 12 essential commodities remained stable.
