A few days earlier, I went to a shop at the intersection between heaven and hell to buy a cigar. There was a newspaper stall next to the shop. For your information, Karachi newspapers are banned in both heaven and hell. In Heaven, the situation of Karachi makes residents so depressed that they feel like they are in hell. And in Hell, these news are a source of joy for the convicted criminals.
As usual, I picked up the Dawn newspaper, the newspaper I was deeply involved with. The literal meaning of Dawn is probably ‘Subha Sadiq’. After reading the newspaper, I witnessed that the problems in Karachi are increasing day by day. A report stated that gutters in several areas of Karachi are boiling (overflowing), we haven’t even thought of boiling anything other than a tea.
I was very surprised after reading other news that Karachi people buy three types of water: Water for drinking, water for cooking and water for other necessities. However, I only saw two types of water, where Ganga and Yamuna meet.
A scarce resource in most towns, the inequitable distribution of water has aggravated the crisis in the city as citizens are compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.
