Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesman Sheikh Waqas Akram said that India’s aggression would be given a fitting response, asserting that every child is ready to sacrifice at the border and only the PTI founder can unite the nation.
Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Waqas Akram stated that they are not afraid of India’s empty threats. “The nation stands firmly behind every soldier defending the border. We will not be intimidated by India’s bluster,” he said.
He emphasized that PTI is steadfast in its resolve and will respond strongly to any provocation from India.
Speaking alongside farmers’ leaders from Sindh and Punjab during a joint press conference following the farmers’ organizational efforts, the PTI Central Information Secretary remarked that farmers’ issues are even more critical amid the current situation with India. “Pakistani farmers cannot be happy while India creates tensions,” he said.
Waqas Akram added that farmers were content during PTI’s tenure. “Our policy on mines and minerals reflects Khan’s vision. The coming one to two months are crucial for farmers,” he stressed.
He warned that if farmers receive 100 rupees less than the production cost, Pakistan would suffer a loss of Rs 75 billion. “In Punjab alone, farmers would lose Rs 50 billion,” he said.
Commenting on wheat rates, he mentioned that the current pricing would lead to a national loss of Rs 900 billion. He questioned why the government fails to notice the farmers’ losses, despite earlier claims that the country would produce 33 million tons of wheat.
