ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Islamabad Safe City Headquarters today.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate a new “Eagles” Motorbike Squad, comprising 100 motorcycles today on the occasion of his visit to Safe City Headquarters.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad will accompany the premier during the visit and brief him on the details of progress regarding the expansion of the Safe City project.
Yesterday in Islamabad, Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad himself visited the Safe City headquarters and reviewed the arrangements. Under the plan, security arrangements in the federal capital will be further tightened.

A special motorcycle squad will be deployed to guard Islamabad. Earlier, PM Imran Khan had rejected a proposal in the federal budget to impose a tax of Rs 5 per gigabyte (GB) on internet data.
Five days ago today, the Ministry of Finance said that the telecommunications sector has made great strides in the recent past. Mobile phone calls lasting more than three minutes will be taxed to get a fair amount of revenue from the sector, but the prime minister did not approve the proposal.
