Pakistan has won three gold medals at the Global Powerlifting and Bodybuilding Championship (GPBI) held in Dubai, UAE.
Karachi’s 52-year-old Irfanullah secured a gold medal in the 55-year age category, while Lahore’s Gul Qadri claimed gold in the Masters category.
In the Men’s Physique category, Talha clinched the gold medal. In Classic Physique, Faizan earned a silver medal. Former world bodybuilding champion from Pakistan, Rameez Ibrahim, supervised the competitions and served as head judge.
More than 200 bodybuilders from around the world participated in the event which being held from February 7 to 9.
This premier, open-format event attracts athletes worldwide for powerlifting, bodybuilding, and strongman competitions. It acts as a major qualifier for upcoming international events, including the GPBI Championship in Canada.
