The Green Shirts face a do-or-die situation in their third match of the ODI series against Zimbabwe, as both teams have won one match each, making the series 1-1. This has heightened the excitement for the fans.

In the previous match, Pakistan’s bowlers dismissed the Zimbabwean team for just 145 runs in 32.3 overs. The hosts were easily bowled out, and Pakistan chased down the target in just 18.2 overs without losing a single wicket.

Dion Myers was the top scorer for Zimbabwe, making 33 runs off 30 balls. Sean Williams scored 31 runs, while captain Craig Ervine contributed 18 runs to the team’s total.

Zimbabwe lost their first wicket early when opener Tadiwanashe Marumani was run out by Tayyab Tahir, scoring only 4 runs off 2 balls. The other opener, Joylord Gumbie, also fell soon after.

Gumbie made just 5 runs off 14 balls before being clean bowled by Abrar Ahmed, leaving Zimbabwe on 23 runs. After that, the Zimbabwean batters became more cautious and began playing more responsibly against Pakistan, but Zimbabwe lost their third wicket at a total of 61.

Salman Ali Aga claimed the wicket of Dion Myers, who was dismissed LBW after making 33 runs off 30 balls, including 6 fours. The fourth wicket to fall was that of captain Craig Ervine, who was caught by Mohammad Rizwan after a good delivery from Salman Ali Aga.

Craig Ervine made 18 runs off 35 balls, including one four, in his innings. The current match situation is exciting, with Zimbabwe having scored 68 runs for the loss of 4 wickets after 15 overs.
