The global epidemic of coronavirus has caused 30 more deaths in Pakistan and the total number of deaths has reached 22,811.
The rate of positive cases of the virus in the country has reached 4.95 percent. According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), another 2,452 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country.
The total number of people affected by coronavirus has reached 991,727. According to the NCOC, the condition of 2,532 coronavirus patients across the country is critical. So far, 1,54,43,477 people have been tested for the virus.
The number of cases of coronavirus in Sindh is 356,929, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 140,818, in Punjab 350,618, in Islamabad 84,722, in Balochistan 29,110, in Azad Kashmir 22,116 and in Gilgit-Baltistan 7,414.
The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 10,881 people lost their lives while 5,720 in Sindh, 4,386 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 787 in Islamabad, 117 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 319 in Balochistan, and 601 in Azad Kashmir.
According to the NCOC, so far 4,550,696 people across the country have been given full doses of the coronavirus vaccine while 1,81,85,295 people have been given a single dose.
